Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis continues its mission of training postgraduate psychotherapists in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis and providing low and moderate-fee psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to the New York City area.
Our training programs provide an outstanding opportunity for postgraduate psychotherapists to immerse themselves in the experiential and didactic study of the transformational potential of psychoanalysis in the warm and supportive environment for learning and professional development that is our well-earned reputation.
Our annual Colloquium Series continues to provide a congenial forum for the presentation and lively discussion and exchange of ideas between and among our esteemed presenters, candidates, analysts and guests.
Our Trauma Treatment Center has expanded its training program into a two-semester sequence, open to members of the larger psychoanalytic community as well as our own, and the Institute continues to foster a formalized and visible LGBTQ presence, both educationally and clinically.
Each of these important efforts takes financial resources. As a not-for-profit institution we remain dependent upon your generosity, since, with the exception of our capable Administrator, the Institute is entirely administered by the generous hard work of volunteer committees that oversee, administer to, and care for the dual missions of the Institute: that of providing excellence in postgraduate psychoanalytic training, and that of providing excellence in clinical psychoanalytic and psychotherapeutic services to the New York City community.
In these times of economic uncertainty, we are even more dependent on the generosity of concerned individuals such as yourselves. Please be as generous as you can.
