The Manhattan Institute
was one of the first psychoanalytic institutes in New York to develop
specialized training in working with adults traumatized in childhood.
The Trauma
Treatment Center (TTC), formerly the Center for the Study of Incest and
Abuse, has been a division of Manhattan Institute since 1989.
TRAINING
Through
its educational programs, the TTC serves the training needs of the greater
professional community. Comprehensive coursework and continuing education
programs reflect the Center's dedication to a clinical approach that integrates
a contemporary psychoanalytic approach with recent advances in the field
of traumatology. Regularly-scheduled seminars and case conferences offer
support and continuity to therapists engaged in this challenging work.
For more information on training opportunities in the TTC call the Manhattan
Institute at (212) 422-1221.
